Steve Krom is the Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Comcast’s West Division. In this role, Steve leads consumer sales and marketing for Xfinity TV, Internet, Voice, Home and Mobile products and services. In addition to leading our demand generation and go to market efforts, Steve leads our investments in channel and operational effectiveness and transformation. A critical part of Steve’s role is his leadership of our retail transformation and of our Sales and Loyalty Centers of Excellence, which service customers and field calls across the West Division’s six regions and 12 states.

Prior to joining Comcast in 2014, Steve spent 19 years in various leadership positions in technology and telecommunications. Most recently, Steve was Vice President and General Manager for AT&T New England. In this role, he was responsible for all aspects of wireless and Uverse operations, including sales, marketing, customer care, network and finance, with a team of more than 2,500 employees. Under his leadership, and with a focus on the customer experience, sales excellence and building an inspired and engaged workforce, the New England market was one of the top performing and fastest growing markets within AT&T.

Steve held several other leadership positions within AT&T including Vice President - Customer Lifecycle Management; Vice President and General Manager – San Diego/Las Vegas; Vice President – Business Marketing; Vice President – Product Development; and Vice President – Wireless Data and Internet Services. As Vice President – Wireless Data and Internet Services, Steve led the team that brought to market such products as text messaging and Blackberry.

Prior to AT&T, Steve was a member of the product marketing team for EO, Inc., a Silicon Valley start-up that introduced the first wireless Personal Digital Assistant (PDA) into the United States.

Steve has a Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems from Carnegie Mellon University.
