Dana Strong serves as President, Consumer Services for Comcast Cable. In this role, Strong is responsible for running the Xfinity consumer business for Comcast Cable, the nation’s largest broadband provider and largest pay TV service. Strong oversees the Xfinity brand and product strategy in the marketplace including its video, broadband, voice, home and mobile products as well as the consumer sales and marketing, digital platforms, Xfinity.com and data intelligence groups.
Strong has over 25 years of experience in global telecommunications and media. Before joining Comcast in 2018, she spent nearly two decades with Liberty Global, holding senior executive leadership roles at a number of Liberty consumer brands in highly competitive markets across Australia, Europe and the UK. Most recently, Strong served as President and Chief Operating Officer at Virgin Media – Liberty’s largest consumer brand. Strong was promoted to this role from within Liberty immediately following its acquisition of Virgin Media. Strong also served as Senior Vice President and Chief Transformation Officer at Liberty Global and Chief Executive Officer at Virgin Media Ireland (where she also served as Chairman), in addition to serving on Liberty’s Executive Management Committee and the Global People Agenda Team.
Additionally, Strong has served on a number of boards across both Europe and the US. Most recently, she was appointed to the Economic and Community Advisory Council for the Philadelphia Federal Reserve. Before relocating to the US, she served on the board of Telenet Group, the largest telecommunications, TV and mobile provider in Belgium. She was also elected to Chairman of the Irish Telecommunications and Internet Federation in Dublin, Ireland, the representative body for industry advocacy.
Strong is a dual degree graduate from the University of Pennsylvania with a Bachelor of Science in Economics from The Wharton School of Business and a Bachelor of Arts in History from the College of Arts and Sciences.
