Sam Lancaster serves as Senior Vice President of Federal Government Affairs for Comcast Corporation. In this capacity he works with Republican Members in the House and Senate with an emphasis on House Republican Leadership as well as the House Energy and Commerce and Judiciary Committees.
Prior to joining Comcast, Sam worked on Capitol Hill for 19 years for Former Speaker of the House, J. Dennis Hastert (R-IL). During his tenure with Speaker Hastert, Sam served in various roles, including House Floor Assistant, Director of Speaker Operations and as Chief of Staff. Sam also served as a Senate Page and intern for the late-Senator Strom Thurmond (R-SC).
Sam received a B.A. in Political Science and Administration of Criminal Justice from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
