Rodrigo Lopez is the Regional Senior Vice President of Comcast’s Pacific Northwest Region, overseeing 2.7 million customer relationships and over 2,200 employees. In this role, he is responsible for executive oversight of all parts of the business, including technical operations, engineering, business operations, marketing, external affairs and sales, as well as the overall financial health and wellbeing of the region.

Lopez has a unique and critical understanding of the needs, marketplace, and regulatory structures in the Pacific Northwest, as he most recently served as the Regional Senior Vice President of Comcast’s Washington Region, and prior to that the Oregon/SW Washington Region. Those two regions now operate as the Pacific Northwest Region.

Lopez started at Comcast as a Customer Service Representative in Orange County, CA, and throughout his career has continually been committed to enhancing and improving the customer experience through education, innovation, and technology.

He has nearly three decades of leadership experience with Comcast. He has been named to Cablefax Magazine’s Top 100 Regional Power Players, and one of the most influential minority executives in the industry for the last three years. Lopez is passionate about inclusion and a great-place-to-work culture, and serves as the West Division Executive Sponsor of the Womens’ Network Employee Resource Group (ERG).

Lopez previously served as Regional Vice President of Comcast’s Mountain Region in Salt Lake City, and Vice President of Finance for Comcast’s California Region. He’s also held leadership roles in Seattle, Delaware, and Utah. 

He is actively engaged in the business community, serves on the boards of the Seattle Roundtable and Oregon Business Council, and is passionate about educating children on financial literacy. In his spare time, Lopez enjoys spending time with his wife, Mary, and their two adult children, listening to music, attending concerts, and traveling.
