Elizabeth Wideman serves as Senior Vice President and Senior Deputy General Counsel for Comcast Corporation. In this role, she primarily oversees legal matters related to U.S. securities laws, shareholder services and corporate governance. Liz has worked in the Law Department of Comcast Corporation since 2008.
Before joining Comcast, Liz was counsel at Susquehanna International Group, and prior to that, was an associate in the Corporate and Securities Group at Drinker Biddle & Reath LLP in Philadelphia, PA, where she focused on public company securities matters, corporate governance, mergers and acquisitions, and private equity and other corporate transactions.
Liz currently serves on the boards of the U.S. exchanges operated by Nasdaq, Inc., which include The Nasdaq Stock Market LLC, Nasdaq PHLX LLC, Nasdaq BX, Inc., Nasdaq ISE, LLC, Nasdaq MRX, LLC, and Nasdaq GEMX, LLC. She is also a member of the board of directors of the Philadelphia Animal Welfare Society (PAWS). Liz graduated magna cum laude from Villanova University with a B.S. in management and received her J.D. from Boston College Law School. Liz lives in Philadelphia, PA with her husband.
