David Tashjian currently serves as Comcast’s Senior Vice President of the Oregon/SW Washington region, which serves ~1 million residential and business customers. In addition to overseeing ~1,000 employees, David is responsible for technical operations, engineering, business operations, marketing, external affairs, human resources, growth, customers experience, financial health of the region, and most importantly the satisfaction and engagement of the team.
David has more than 15 years at Comcast and 25 years in the industry. Most recently, he was Vice President of Sales Strategy and Operations for Comcast’s West Division, based in Denver, CO. In this role he provided strategic leadership to support and grow Comcast’s residential consumer products in the 10 States. David’s team, in collaboration with region leadership, was responsible for designing the go-to-market strategy and playbook for all field sales channels, additional responsibilities included back office support for 5,000+ teammates consisting of Communications, Escalations and Compensation.
David joined Comcast in 2005 as Area Director of Marketing and Call Center Operations, first in Delaware, Virginia, and subsequently Beltway. In 2010 he joined the West Division as Vice President of Sales and Marketing in the Twin Cities and later in the Mountain West Region. Previously, David worked for Dish Network in Chicago.
When David isn’t working you can find him spending time with his wife Andrea, his son Maxwell, and daughter Olivia. David is proud to call Portland home, and adds it to the list of 17 cities he’s lived in. David is a former chef, has a passion for the arts of all kind, and has served on multiple business and philanthropic boards. David currently serves on the boards of the Oregon Business Council and Boys and Girls Club of Greater Portland.
