Brian Josef serves as Vice President for Regulatory Affairs for Comcast Corporation. Brian develops and advocates the company’s priorities before federal agencies, including the Federal Communications Commission and Department of Commerce. Brian has worked on numerous regulatory proceedings, including wireless, network resiliency, public safety, and broadband, among others, for well over 20 years.

Prior to joining Comcast in 2017, Brian worked for CTIA – The Wireless Association, where he represented wireless service providers, infrastructure companies, device manufacturers, and equipment suppliers before numerous federal agencies, Congress and Administrations. Before that, Brian worked at the law firm of (currently) Davis Wright Tremaine LLP, where he practiced communications law. During that time, he represented a wide variety of communications clients, including Comcast.

Brian received a B.A. from the University of Pennsylvania and a J.D. from the Catholic University of America, Columbus School of Law, with a Certificate in Communications Law Studies. He actively participates as a member of the Federal Communications Bar Association, where he most recently serves as Co-Chair of the Wireless Practice Committee. Brian resides in North Bethesda, Maryland with his wife and two children.
