As Regional Vice President of Operations for Comcast California, Amy Lynch is responsible for 2,500 employees who are part of the region’s technical operations and communications operations team. This group leads the company in performance and service improvements - paving the way for the California region to make significant contributions to Comcast. 

In her most recent role, Amy oversaw all aspects of Comcast’s operations for one of cable TV’s highest profile territories – Silicon Valley and the tech-savvy San Francisco Peninsula. She was responsible for a team of approximately 600 employees, and oversaw the extensive Southwest Bay territory that stretches from San Francisco through Santa Clara County, and south to Monterey County. She also served as the Area Vice President for Comcast in Southern Colorado and previously served in Comcast’s Mile High Region as the General Manager of the Colorado Mountains.  During her five-year tenure with the Mile High Region, Amy led numerous initiatives and improvements, including facilitating the first ever contract between Comcast and the Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) which provided Comcast access and use of CDOT fiber. 

Amy previously served as Director of Sales and Marketing for Comcast’s former West Bay Area in San Francisco.  She also served as the Regional Vice President of Sales and Marketing in Comcast’s Maryland territory before making her mark in Colorado. Amy began her career at Cox Communications and also held a variety of marketing and leadership positions at @Home Solutions/Excite@Home.  

A native of New England, Amy graduated from the University of Connecticut where she received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Marketing and Communications.  She has completed many executive education courses including the SCTE Tuck School of Business Leadership Program and the Comcast Corporate Executive Leadership Forum (ELF). 

Amy also serves as an active member of WITI (Women in Technology International) and Women in Cable Telecommunications (WICT).  She has been named one of the "Most Influential Women in Business" by the San Francisco Business Times, as well as one of Cablefax: The Magazine’s "Most Powerful Women in Cable."  Amy resides in San Francisco.
