Cathy Kilstrom is the Senior Vice President of Customer Care for Comcast Cable Corporation’s West Division, serving 6.5 million customers in Arizona, California, Colorado, Idaho, Kansas, Minnesota, Missouri, New Mexico, Oregon, Washington, Utah, Texas and Wisconsin.  In this position, Cathy is responsible for customer care strategy and planning, customer service standards and centralized care operations. Cathy recently led the transformation of the company’s care operations into Centers of Excellence. 

Cathy has more than 25 years of experience in the telecommunications and information industry. Prior to accepting her current position at Comcast in November 2002, she joined AT&T in September of 1997 as Vice President of Business Local Services and moved to the role of Senior Vice President – Telephony for AT&T Broadband in 1999.  In 2001, Cathy was appointed to the position of Senior Vice President of Customer Care for AT&T Broadband. 

Before joining AT&T, Cathy worked for US West, where she was Vice President of Marketing and Vice President of National Account Sales and Service. 

Cathy graduated from the University of Iowa with a degree in business and marketing.  She is also a graduate of Columbia University and University of Minnesota executive programs. 

Cathy lives in Denver and is a member of The Leadership Investment board of directors, and the University of Colorado at Denver’s board of advisors.  In 2013, Cathy received the Multichannel News "Wonder Woman Award." She received the ‘2005 Woman of the Year Award’ from the Rocky Mountain-Women in Cable Telecommunications organization, and presided as chapter president during 2007 and 2008. Cathy continues to serve on the Rocky Mountain WICT alumni board, was elected to the WICT national board of directors in 2009 and selected for the 2013 WICT Senior Executive Program at Stanford Graduate School of Business.
