Comcast Celebrates Black Music Month with Exclusive Content From Legendary Artists and The Next Generation of Black Storytellers

This June, Comcast celebrates Black Music Month with a one-of-a-kind musical showcase featuring content about and from trailblazing legends in the music industry, as well as highlights from the next generation of musical storytellers across multiple genres.
Curated by our experienced entertainment editors Kaila Oliphant and Kwame Stroman and available on the newly-launched Black Experience Channel on Xfinity X1, Flex and Stream, this curated collection titled, “Ampify the Summer: Collaborations that Elevate Culture” features a variety of music, movies, TV shows, biopics, trivia, and documentaries wih exclusive content from celebrity guest editors like music icon, Quincy Jones, and award-winning singer songwriter, Khalid. X1 and Flex customers can say, “Black Experience” into their Xfinity Voice Remote to easily browse a variety of categories, including:

“Throughout history, Black artists have used music to tell their stories and the stories of the Black community to advocate for social change, drive cultural movements, embrace their heritage, and foster a sense of unity,” Keesha Boyd, Executive Director, Multicultural Video & Entertainment, Xfinity Consumer Services. “We created the Black Experience Channel as a place to elevate Black voices and stories and we are so proud to be able to offer such a wide variety of music, movies, TV shows, biopics, trivia, and documentaries, all in one place, to celebrate the exceptional contributions of Black artists during Black Music Month.”
