Comcast Celebrates Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander Heritage Month with Thousands of Hours of Curated Content
Philadelphia, PA
Celebrated every May, Asian American, Native Hawaiian and Pacific Islander (AANHPI) Heritage Month is a time to acknowledge the many achievements and contributions of this diverse community within the U.S.
Throughout AANHPI Heritage Month, Xfinity customers can explore thousands of hours of curated Asian and Asian American entertainment across Xfinity’s entertainment platforms including X1, Flex, Xumo Stream Box and the Xfinity Stream app. This year’s editorial collection “AANHPI Amplified” highlights award-winning movies, captivating series, and more – showcasing the depth of stories and voices across the AANHPI community.
Marking five years of meaningful collaboration, Xfinity has partnered with Gold House, a nonprofit collective of Asian and Pacific Islander cultural leaders, to bring content recommendations from notable voices in the community to customers.
We are passionate about providing the best multicultural content and programming for the AANHPI community year-round.
“During this time of year, we’re pleased to offer a special curated collection for customers to celebrate, discover new content, and revisit entertainment they know and love,” said Caroline Kim, Senior Director, Multicultural Promotion and Engagement Strategy for Comcast.
Through our “Free this Week” Xfinity will offer week-long access to a collection of premium AANHPI content from select partners at no additional cost, including:
All year long, Xfinity customers can browse and easily access this collection by saying “Asian American” into their voice remote or find it within the Voices experience through the X1 Guide. The AANHPI collection is available across Xfinity’s entertainment platforms including Xfinity X1, Xfinity Flex, Xumo Stream Box and the Xfinity Stream app.
