Comcast NBCUniversal Celebrates Diwali with South Asian Programming on Xfinity

Xfinity X1 and Flex customers can easily access the destination by saying “Diwali” into the Xfinity Voice Remote.

In celebration of Diwali, the festival of lights that coincides with the Hindu New Year, from November 1 – 30, Xfinity customers have access to a specially curated collection of hundreds of hours of South Asian entertainment. Customers can access the entire Diwali collection on X1 and Flex by saying “Diwali” into the Xfinity voice remote or by visiting the South Asia destination in Xfinity on Demand. Since Flex is included with Xfinity internet, the collection will be available to all customers.

Customers can find Bollywood movies by genre, podcasts, and music videos and the best Diwali-themed content from Eros Now, Tubi, XUMO, Netflix, Prime Video, YouTube and more. And this year, we’re proud to offer our very first collection of kid’s content celebrating Diwali.

  • Curated content from celebrity guest editors, including British R&B singer, Jay Sean; Monica Vaswani of the Bravo TV series, “Family Karma”; singer/composer, Salim Merchant; and “Indian Idol: Season 4” runner up, Torsha Sarkar.
  • Streaming movies like Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham on Netflix and Dangal on XUMO, both accessible on X1 and Flex.
  • A unique on demand video featuring a burning Diya to play on X1 during Diwali celebrations.
  • Stingray Music Videos such as: A.R. Rahman Feat. Udit Narayan, Alka Yagnik and Vasundhara Das; Ami Mishra: Hasi. You can also enjoy playlists by artists like A.R.
