Comcast Corporation Promotes Lynn Charytan and Jennifer Khoury to Senior Vice President

Comcast Corporation (Nasdaq: CMCSA, CMCSK) today announced that it has promoted Lynn Charytan and Jennifer Khoury to Senior Vice President.  With these promotions, Ms. Charytan becomes Senior Vice President, Legal Regulatory Affairs and Senior Deputy General Counsel and Ms. Khoury becomes Senior Vice President, Corporate and Digital Communications.

As head of the Legal Regulatory Group, Ms. Charytan is responsible for providing corporate-wide legal advice on regulatory matters and overseeing the company’s legal regulatory advocacy, including filings in federal and state regulatory proceedings and related litigation and appeals. She also oversees compliance with the regulatory requirements related to the NBCUniversal transaction and other significant matters.   Prior to joining Comcast in November 2010, Ms. Charytan was a Partner at WilmerHale, where she served as the chair of the Communications, Privacy and Internet Law Practice Group. During her more than 17 years with the firm, she advised clients on telecommunications, privacy and Internet-law matters. Before joining WilmerHale, Ms. Charytan worked for two years as in-house counsel to The Washington Post.  Ms. Charytan graduated from both Columbia University and Harvard Law School with honors.

Ms. Khoury leads all strategic communications for the company’s consumer products, in addition to media relations, social media and digital communications for the company’s corporate brand.  Ms. Khoury previously served as Vice President of Corporate Communications for Comcast Corporation and as Vice President of Public Relations for Comcast Cable’s New England region. Prior to joining the cable industry, Ms. Khoury worked in consulting for ML Strategies, a strategic consulting company of Mintz Levin.  Ms. Khoury earned her master’s degree from The Annenberg School for Communication at the University of Pennsylvania and received her B.A. in communications from Boston College.
