Xfinity Debuts Interactive Livestreaming App on X1 and Flex Featuring 'Bravo’s Live Pre-Show with The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City'
Tonight at 6:30 pm PT/9:30 pm ET, fans of Bravo’s newest franchise, The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City, can join an exclusive live stream on Xfinity X1 and Flex to interact with all six new Housewives and get the latest scoop on the series directly from the cast members themselves. The event, hosted by Bravo’s Daryn Carp, will unfold in Xfinity’s new Watchwith app on X1 and Flex and marks the first time a network has offered an interactive livestream experience around their content, directly on the TV.
To access tonight’s event which promises to bring Housewives fans closer to their favorite ladies by enabling live engagement with them via onscreen interactive features such as audience polling, live tweets, and more, X1 and Flex customers can say “The Real Housewives Fan Club” or “Watchwith” into their voice remote. Once the pre-show starts, X1 and Flex customers can submit comments and questions via Twitter for the Housewives to respond to in real time using the hashtag #RHOSLC and may see their tweets scroll across the screen. Additionally, they’ll be able to utilize the Sneak Peek meter, a polling feature that will enable the audience to collectively unlock never before seen clips during the live stream from the upcoming The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City season using their voice remote.
On the East Coast, the interview will immediately precede a new episode of the series at 10:00 pm ET on Bravo. To quickly tune in following the livestreaming event, X1 customers can say “Bravo” into the Xfinity Voice Remote. Shortly after the livestream ends, Xfinity customers can watch a replay of the live pre-show interview via the Watchwith app on X1 and Flex.
We’re excited about Watchwith’s ability to provide another way for our partners like Bravo to leverage Xfinity’s innovative platforms to connect fans in new ways and to bring our customers closer to the entertainment they love most.
