A lot can change in a year, especially when it comes to Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. That’s why we’re so excited to announce the second annual PHLAI conference, where we’ll hear from leaders in the field about how the technology continues to evolve.

As I wrote last year the first PHLAI was a resounding success, bringing together hundreds of technologists for a full day of tech talks and networking focused on machine learning and AI. More than 20 speakers filled three tracks on operations, product and business intelligence, with subjects ranging from using deep learning to prevent human trafficking; to the technology behind Pinterest recommendations; to our own X1 Voice Remote and the machine-learning that powers our homegrown Natural Language Processing platform.

This year, we’re looking to build on that success, exploring a wide range of topics, and hearing from some of the brightest minds in the field.

It all starts with a call for presentations. If you’re a technologist, working on an interesting application for AI or machine learning, we want to hear from you. Visit our PHLAI conference page to submit a proposal.

We’ll have a lot more to say in coming weeks as we announce speakers, tracks and sessions. Check back here for the latest, and we look forward to seeing you in September.
