NBCUniversal Tallies 76 Emmy Nominations, NBC’s 58 Bids Leads Broadcast Networks

The 71st annual Emmy nominations were announced on Wednesday and NBCUniversal was honored with 76 nominations. The winners will be announced Sunday, Sept. 22.

A total of 58 nominations were given to NBC programming, the most of any broadcast network. Highlights include ‘Saturday Night Live’, which led the way for NBC with 18 nominations, followed by ‘This is Us’ (9) ‘The Voice’ (7), ‘The Good Place’ (5) and ‘World of Dance’ (5). A total of 16 shows or programs picked up nominations for NBC.

In addition, Bravo’s ‘Top Chef’ was nominated for Outstanding Competition Show. Universal Television and Universal Content Productions are also credited for producing several Emmy-nominated series.
