'Green Book' Wins Best Picture in Big Oscar Night for Universal

Universal Pictures’ ‘Green Book’ took home the Academy Awards’ top honor Sunday, winning Best Picture, one of three Oscar wins for the film, which also earned a Best Supporting Actor nod for Mahershala Ali and Best Original Screenplay.

NBCUniversal’s motion picture studios also scored wins for Best Adapted Screenplay (‘BlacKkKlansman’, Focus Features) and Visual Effects (‘First Man’, Universal Pictures). All told, NBCUniversal’s motion picture studios were nominated for a collective 17 Academy Awards this year.
