This weekend we’re looking forward to supporting and taking part in the annual Applied Network Research Workshop (ANRW), where members from across the global Internet community join together to explore the latest research into network innovation.

Taking place in Prague, just a just ahead of the 99th meeting of the IETF, the ANRW is organized by the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM), the Internet Research Task Force (IRTF), and the Internet Society (ISOC).

This novel cross-community workshop brings together researchers, vendors, network operators and the Internet standards community to present and discuss interesting new results in applied networking research. The the previous 2016 workshop featured some great discussion and collaboration on subjects ranging from software defined networking (SDN), issues around IPv6 and Transmission Control Protocol (TCP) performance, measurement, and more.

Consistent with the type of work we fund via the Comcast Innovation Fund, we are pleased to help support this event and look forward to some great results for the Internet community.
