Making great software is equal parts art and science. To share how our teams are approaching the craft of software development and learn more from developers in our community about how they approach it, we’re hosting a one-day technical conference in Philadelphia on October 17, 2017.

If you’re a developer and have a great story to share about how you approach the craft of software development, we hope you’ll consider proposing a presentation.

We’ve made our call for presentations deliberately broad, to capture the widest range of interesting topics, but we’re particularly interested in talks that focus on:

  • How to approach software development as a craft
  • Tools that support the craft of software development
  • The challenges of working with legacy code
  • Big data solutions
  • The future of software engineering (including Chaos Engineering)

This is our fourth in a series of one-day technical conferences that kicked off with Scala by the Schuylkill earlier this year. Our most recent event PHLAI was the largest yet and featured more than 20 speakers discussing practical applications of machine learning and artificial intelligence.

Registration will open soon. Check back here often for details.
