COVID-19 RESPONSE
New Offering Helps University Students Stay Connected During COVID-19
With universities closing campuses and resorting to online-only courses for the remainder of the semester, many students across the country are displaced and left without the internet connection they need to finish out the year, or in some cases, graduate. We understand the value of being connected during times like these and want to help these students left without access.
On the heels of announcing two free months of Internet Essentials to eligible low-income individuals that sign up over the next 60 days, Xfinity is now offering eligible university students who live in our service areas and need internet service, a Visa prepaid card worth about two months of internet service. No upfront fees, no installation costs. All they have to do is sign up at www.xfinity.com/student for this select offer, and within a few days they’ll get an internet self-install kit, and then in just a few weeks later they’ll receive a $150 Visa prepaid card with a value of about two months of internet service. This offer is available to college students who live in households that are not already Xfinity customers, through June 15th.
Access to the internet has never been more important, and we want to help everyone – no matter where they are in their stage of life – to stay connected during this challenging time.
