Comcast NBCUniversal Recognized as a Top 5 Best Workplace for Parents for 6th Consecutive Year
For the sixth year in a row, Comcast NBCUniversal was recognized in the top five on the 2022 Best Workplaces for Parents® list by consulting firm Great Place to Work. We are proud to be named as the #5 company for cultivating a workplace culture that benefits working parents.
The ranking was determined based on survey feedback representing more than 6 million U.S. employees, focusing on how companies can support working parents in a way that fosters trust, purpose, credibility, respect, camaraderie, a great employee experience, and more.
This recognition reflects our efforts to foster a workplace culture where all teammates feel supported, embraced, and heard not just in their work life, but their home life, as well. We know that families come in all different shapes and sizes and everyone’s journey through parenthood is different, and that’s why we provide our employees with a wide array of benefits, resources, expert guidance and always-on tools that are personalized to meet the needs of them and their families.
A few noteworthy Comcast NBCUniversal benefits include: an adoption assistance program which provides employees with reimbursement for eligible expenses associated with adopting a child up to a maximum reimbursement of $10,000; access to myParenthood, a program that offers personalized benefits to support an employee’s journey through parenthood; high-quality access to back-up care for children, adult, and elder family members during a lapse in normal care arrangements; as well as access to personal and confidential counseling services for employees and their family members to help manage stress, relationships, and other personal issues.
We also offer generous parental leave options for our working parents. We recently enhanced our parental leave benefits plan for primary and non-primary benefits-eligible caregivers. Primary caregivers receive 16 weeks paid leave, and non-primary caregivers receive four weeks of paid leave.
