Comcast NBCUniversal Recognized as the #3 Best Workplace for Parents
For the fifth consecutive year, Comcast NBCUniversal has been named on the ‘50 Best Workplaces for Parents’ list by consulting firm Great Place To Work. We are proud to be named as the #3 company for cultivating a workplace culture that benefits working parents.
The ranking is determined based on a survey completed by over 100,000 working parents. The survey focuses on the reality of their day-to-day workplace experience, including organization-wide support for work-life balance, the quality of benefits, the fairness of opportunities for professional development and advancement, and more.
A few noteworthy Comcast NBCUniversal benefits for parents include: an adoption assistance program which provides employees with reimbursement for eligible expenses associated with adopting a child up to a maximum reimbursement of $10,000; access to myParenthood, a program that offers personalized benefits to support an employee’s journey through parenthood; high-quality access to back-up care for children, adult, and elder family members during a lapse in normal care arrangements; as well as access to personal and confidential counseling services for employees and their family members to help manage stress, relationships, and other personal issues. These are just a few of the many benefits we offer to our employees.
We also offer fun activities throughout the year to engage families such as, “Bring Your Child to Work Day.” This year, we celebrated virtually featuring exclusive content and special activities such as How to be a Kid Reporter (hosted by “TODAY’S’ Al Roker), Finance 101 (with CNBC’s Becky Quick), How to Speak Spanish (with Telemundo’s Rashel Diaz), Family-Friendly Workouts (with Universal Kids’ “American Ninja Warrior Jr.’s” Akbar Gbajabiamila and NBC Sports’ Liam McHugh), sing-alongs, drawing lessons, and more.
