Comcast NBCUniversal Platform Honoring Civil Rights Champions Reaches Milestone

Five years ago this week, Comcast NBCUniversal launched ‘Voices of the Civil Rights Movement’ to honor the 50th anniversary of the March on Washington for Jobs and Freedom.

Dedicated to the sacrifice, service, and vision of America’s civil rights champions, Voices chronicles stirring firsthand accounts from the front lines of America’s struggle for racial equity. More than 16 hours of video content are available on Xfinity On Demand’s “Black Film & TV” destination, online and on social media.

At Comcast NBCUniversal, we’re proud to present these powerful stories to our customers and the general public alike, delivering on a public trust that the media we carry represent the broad and diverse audiences of the communities we serve.
