Xfinity Mobile Announces July 14 as National ‘Break Free From The Big Three Day’
Today Comcast’s Xfinity Mobile launched National Break Free From the Big Three Day – a day dedicated to breaking free from bad habits, relationships and stale mobile plans. A survey conducted by Comcast found that 82% of Americans are looking to leave behind bad habits developed over the last year.
“Break Free From the Big Three Day is all about breaking up with the old and entering a fresh new relationship, like that with their mobile provider. Xfinity Mobile is encouraging consumers to break free from the big three carriers and join Xfinity Mobile where they will have more flexibility and cost savings with their 5G mobile plans,” said Sophie Ahmad, EVP, Sales, Marketing and Product, Comcast Cable.
Nearly two-thirds (65%) of all Americans, 76% of Millennials, and 83% of Gen Zers have had longer relationships with their mobile providers than romantic partners. In fact, 76% of Americans would break up with their mobile provider if someone did it for them.
Call in the “Switch Squad”
More than three-quarters (76%) admit they’d switch providers if their new mobile provider would “break up” with their current provider for them. Xfinity recently introduced the “Switch Squad”, a team of experts to help consumers switch to Xfinity Mobile – just visit an Xfinity Store and ask for the “Squad”.
