After nearly 28 million viewers tuned in to the historic streaming moment, Peacock is building upon that success with new TV series, films and more.

Peacock's Record-Breaking Weekend

The first-ever streaming-exclusive NFL Wild Card game between the Miami Dolphins and the Kansas City Chiefs on January 13 was the biggest live-streamed event in U.S. history, reaching nearly 28 million viewers, and helping to drive Peacock to its highest concurrent streams and usage day in the platform’s history.

In addition to record-breaking live viewership, the strength of Peacock’s entire platform has been on display this month, with new comedy series Ted debuting as Peacock’s most-watched original title over its first seven days. The second season of fan favorite The Traitors premiered as Peacock’s biggest original reality season launch through its first four days on platform.

Peacock at the Emmys

On January 15 Peacock won its first two Emmy Awards: Judith Light was recognized for her performance in Poker Face and The Traitors won Outstanding Casting for a Reality Program. In addition to taking home two statues, Peacock was well-represented at the Emmy Awards with Poker Faces' Natasha Lyonne and Extended Family's Jon Cryer presenting awards during the ceremony, as well as the ceremony itself taking place in the newly named Peacock Theater.
