NBC Wins 2023-2024 Season in Total Viewership
Universal City, California
On the heels of a groundbreaking Paris Olympics and fueled by the strength of its popular scripted and unscripted series, NBC has won the 2023-24 season in both total viewers and the 18-49 demo for all programs.
The network was led by primetime’s #1 program, “Sunday Night Football,” the beloved #OneChicago franchise, first-year hit dramas “Found” and “The Irrational,” unscripted stalwarts “The Voice” and “America’s Got Talent, comedy staples “Night Court” and “Lopez vs. Lopez,” the one and only “Saturday Night Live,” and, of course, the Paris Olympics, which dominated the TV landscape for two consecutive weeks.
NBC launches the 2024-25 season this Monday with a two-hour episode of “The Voice” – featuring new coaches Snoop Dogg and Michael Bublé – and the series premiere of the Zachary Quinto medical drama “Brilliant Minds.”
Other new shows premiering this fall are comedies “Happy’s Place” (Oct. 18), starring Reba McEntire, and “St. Denis Medical” (Nov. 12), from executive producer Justin Spitzer (“Superstore”).
