XFINITY TV Offers Unprecedented Access of Election Across Screens

‘Election Central’ Delivers Breaking News, Debates, Analysis and Political Footage on the PC, On Demand and Mobile Devices

This fall, Xfinity TV is bringing an unprecedented amount of live election news coverage, and making it instantly available across screens to help customers stay informed about the upcoming elections.  Xfinity TV’s new multiplatform offering, Election Central, will deliver 24/7 live-breaking news, event coverage, speeches and the presidential and vice presidential debates, along with on-demand video archives of top campaign moments across screens and devices.

Xfinity TV’s Election Central offers comprehensive news coverage, analysis and programming, including:

Presidential and Vice Presidential Debates
Xfinity TV will bring customers all three presidential debates, and the vice presidential debate across screens.  Customers can watch all of the debates on live TV, or stream CNN’s debate coverage live online at and through the CNN app.  Each of the debates will also be available on Xfinity On Demand, and through the Xfinity TV apps the day after it airs live.

Election Day Coverage
On Tuesday, Nov. 6 – Election Day – Xfinity TV customers can watch live election coverage and analysis from CNN at and through the CNN app.  Customers can also watch national and state election news and events from ABC News, AP, CBS News, CNN, Current, FOX News, MSNBC, NBC News and Reuters online at

Election Moments and Features
A variety of platform speeches from this year’s Democratic National and Republican National Conventions, including the candidates’ nomination acceptance speeches, as well as campaign-event coverage from C-SPAN are currently available on Xfinity On Demand, and through the Xfinity TV apps.  Documentaries from CNN and MSNBC on the 2012 presidential candidates, including Mitt Romney: The Making of a Candidate and Barack Obama: Making History are also available across Xfinity TV viewing platforms.

On the lighter side of the election, programming from Comedy Central’s The Daily Show and The Colbert Report, election specials from Saturday Night Live, the first two seasons of STARZ’s original series Boss, HBO’s series Veep, and movies with political themes such as The American President, Ides of March and Air Force One are currently available on Xfinity On Demand and
