XFINITY On Demand Presents Biggest Oscars Collection Ever

The Oscars are just around the corner and Xfinity TV has customers covered leading up to the film industry's biggest event of the year.

Users are invited to check out the Oscars viewers guide (inset) to find out how one can check out this year’s most buzzed-about movies before the show, such as Best Picture nominees like 12 Years a Slave, Captain Phillips, Dallas Buyer Clubs and Gravity. Many are available both to rent and to own, and can be enjoyed on any of the Xfinity On Demand platforms.

Also, August: Osage County and Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom, two other nominated movies, are both still in theaters but Xfinity TV is making them available for rental early on the platform so users can watch the critically-acclaimed films in advance of Sunday’s show.

All told, 130 previous winners are available to rent, own or enjoy as part of a premium network or Streampix subscription, including most of the Best Picture winners from the past 25 years like The Kings Speech (2010), American Beauty (1999) and Rain Man (1988).
