Road to Rio Continues as Paralympics Reaches 100 Days Marker

NBC and NBCSN will air 66 hours of coverage of the Rio Paralympics in September, an increase of 60.5 hours from the coverage in London.

With 100 days to go until the start of the 2016 Paralympics in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, NBC Olympics’ production is heating up. NBC and NBCSN will combine to provide an unprecedented 66 hours of Paralympic coverage this September, following a historic 50 hours from Sochi, Russia, in 2014. In partnership with the USOC, TeamUSA.org will deliver a comprehensive streaming presentation of the Rio Games, just as it did for Sochi.

Take a sneak peak at NBC Olympics’ coverage by watching the feature video on how U.S. Paralympian David Brown, a blind track star, and Jerome Avery, his guide, are training for Rio. The 2016 Paralympic Games will take place from September 7-18 from Rio.
