NBC's The Voice: Blockbuster Comes Back Strong in Third Season

NBC’s smashing success, The Voice, returned this fall with the greatest vocalists from across the country invited to compete in the competition show’s third season.

The Voice is part of NBC’s exciting programming efforts to bring viewers the best experiences in entertainment television, and it continues to deliver high ratings, averaging more than 13 million viewers per telecast.

NBC’s The Voice came out strong in its third season, premiering as the No. 1 entertainment program of its week in the coveted 18 to 49 age group. Its celebrity coaches all returned to their swivel chairs, including Christina Aguilera, CeeLo Green, Adam Levine and Blake Shelton. Host Carson Daly and Social Media Correspondent Christina Milian also returned for the third season and helped deliver another exciting round of competition.

As television’s No. 1 singing competition so far this season, The Voice has already been picked up by NBC for a fourth and fifth cycle in the spring and fall of 2013 — and new and exciting things are ahead. Music superstars Usher and Shakira will become celebrity coaches, replacing Christina Aguilera and CeeLo Green, who will be back in the fall.

The Voice airs Mondays 8:00-10:00 p.m. ET and Tuesdays 8:00-9:00 p.m. ET on NBC.
