NBC Wins Its Fifth Straight Week, With ‘Talent,’ ‘Ninja,’ ‘Hollywood Game Night,’ ‘Running Wild,’ ‘Dateline,’ ‘Comic’ & ‘Mr. Robinson’ In The Top 20

For the 52-week 2014-15 season to date, NBC ranks No. 1 among the Big 4 networks in adults 18-49 and is No. 1 or tied for No. 1 among those nets in adults 25-54, adults 18-34 and all key adult-male demos.
NBC has won its fifth consecutive primetime ratings week in the key demographic of adults 18-49, with America’s Got Talent ranking as the No. 1 telecast for the week of Aug. 10-16 in 18-49 and American Ninja Warrior, Hollywood Game Night, Running Wild with Bear Grylls, Dateline NBC, Last Comic Standing, and Mr. Robinson also generating top-20 rankings among the week’s primetime shows on ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox.
NBC accounted for 9 of the week’s top 20 Big 4 programs in adults 18-49 (rankings exclude sports pre- and post-game shows).
According to "live plus same day" viewing figures from Nielsen Media Research, NBC averaged a 1.1 rating, 4 share in adults 18-49 for the week and 4.5 million viewers overall. NBC rated No. 1 or tied for No. 1 for the week among the Big 4 in every key demographic – adults, men and women 18-34, 18-49 and 25-54.
America’s Got Talent ranked No. 1 among the week’s Big 4 primetime programs in adults 18-49, total viewers, adults 18-34, adults 25-54, teens 12-17 (tie) and kids 2-11. In total viewers, the Tuesday and Wednesday Talent telecasts were No. 1-2 on those nets.
Talent has ranked No. 1 among primetime Big 4 telecasts, excluding sports, during 13 of its 13 weeks on the schedule this summer in total viewers and 11 of 13 weeks in adults 18-49 (L+SD, including one tie).
NBC accounted nine of the week’s top 20 primetime telecasts in 18-49 on ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox, with Tuesday’s Talent (No. 1), Monday’s Ninja Warrior (No. 5), Wednesday’s Talent (No. 7), Tuesday’s Hollywood Game Night (tied for No. 11), Monday’s Running Wild encore (tied for No. 11), Dateline Thursday Night Mystery (No. 14), Wednesday’s Last Comic (tied for No. 15), Wednesday’s 9 p.m. Mr. Robinson (tied for No. 18) and Friday’s Dateline encore (tied for No. 18).

In total viewers, NBC is No. 2 for the season, and running within 6 percent of its year-ago Olympics-boosted average (7.7 million vs. 8.3 million).
Primetime averages for the week of Aug. 17-23 in adults 18-49 are: NBC, 1.1/4; CBS, 0.9/3; Fox, 0.8/3; ABC, 0.8/3; and CW, 0.3/1. In overall total viewers, the weekly averages were: CBS, 5.0 million; NBC, 4.5 million; ABC, 3.3 million; Fox, 2.8 million; and CW, 1.1 million.
"Most current" averages for the 52-week 2014-15 season to date are: NBC, 2.1/7; ABC, 2.0/7; CBS, 2.0/7; Fox, 1.7/6; and CW, 0.7/2. In overall total viewers, the season averages are: CBS, 9.7 million; NBC, 7.7 million; ABC, 7.2 million; Fox, 5.3 million; and CW, 1.9 million.
