NBC Wins First November Sweep in Nine Years
For the first time in nine years, NBC’s primetime lineup has delivered No. 1 ratings in adults 18-49 for the November sweep. Thanks to the tremendous success of Sunday Night Football and The Voice, as well as the new hit drama and comedy series, Revolution and Go On, NBC was No. 1 or tied for No. 1 for eight of the fall season’s first nine weeks.
NBC is up versus one year ago by 23 percent and ahead of its year-ago season average by double-digit percentages in every key ratings category. Most impressively, NBC’s 17 percent lead over the second-place network matches the biggest November margin for any network in 10 years.
NBC’s primetime lineup features four of the top seven programs for the season to date (Sunday Night Football, The Voice on Monday and Tuesday, and Revolution). NBC’s schedule includes the No. 1 program overall — Sunday Night Football, the No. 1 new drama — Revolution, the No. 1 new comedy — Go On, and the No. 1 Friday series — Grimm.
