NBC Universo Ends Month as Fastest Growing Spanish Language Cable Network

August ranks as NBC Universo’s second highest rated month in primetime year-to-date among adults 18-49.

NBC Universo wrapped the month of August ranking as the fastest growing Spanish-language cable network during Monday-Sunday primetime among total viewers, up 80 percent year-over-year and adults 18-49, up 81 percent, according to Nielsen. For the month, NBC Universo averaged 81,000 total viewers and 47,000 adults 18-49, out-pacing Galavision, Discovery en Español, Discovery Familia, El Rey, Fox Deportes, Bein Sports en Español and Univision Deportes. August ranks as NBC Universo’s second highest rated month in primetime year-to-date among adults 18-49. August also marks the 7th month of 2016 with year-over-year growth among adults 18-49.

In addition, NBC Universo ranked as the No. 2 Spanish-language cable network during early fringe (Monday-Friday, 4pm-7pm) with 36,000 adults 18-49, up three spots versus August 2015.
