NBC Sports and Xfinity: Your Home for the Biggest Day in Sports

NBC Sports Group’s big event strategy will be in full swing this Saturday, May 2, and Xfinity customers will have front-row seats the entire day, leading up to one of the biggest main events of all time.

Saturday highlights: NBC Sports Group kicks off a full day of live event coverage with a Premier League doubleheader beginning at 7 a.m. on NBCSN, leading into pre-race coverage of the Kentucky Derby beginning at noon. Over on NBC, second-round coverage of the NHL Stanley Cup playoffs continues with the New York Rangers hosting the Washington Capitals starting at 12:30 p.m. Then, NBC picks up live Kentucky Derby coverage beginning at 4 p.m., taking fans all the way through to the winner's circle. At 7:30 p.m., primetime coverage of the PGA Tour's World Golf Championships-Cadillac Match Play from TPC Harding Park in San Francisco, Calif. airs on NBC.

It all leads up to the most anticipated fight in a generation when Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao face off in Las Vegas in one of the most anticipated fights in history. Coverage gets underway at 9 p.m. on pay-per-view. Order here.

Believe it or not, there’s more. NBC Sports Regional Networks will combine to televise four Major League Baseball games, a possible NBA playoff game, one MLS game, one college lacrosse championship, local horse racing and local reporting on the NFL Draft from Chicago. The Golf Channel will deliver live WGC-Cadillac match play beginning at 3 p.m. Plus, the NBC Sports Live Extra app opens up more possibilities, including additional Premier League matches, LPGA and Champions Tour tournaments, the Rugby Varsity Cup, IIHF World Championships, and more.
