'Meet The Press' Tops Key Demo For Fourth Consecutive Week

New York, NY

Meet the Press beats ABC in total viewers for 12th straight week and outperforms competition combined in influential Washington, D.C. market.

Meet the Press with Chuck Todd (MTP) won the key A25-54 demo for Sunday, March 20, marking its fourth No. 1 consecutive win with a delivery of 1.143 million viewers.

Outperforming the competition by double-digits this past Sunday – +16 percent more than CBS’ Face the Nation half-hour and +23 percent more than ABC’s This Week – MTP is the No. 1 Sunday show in the key demo season-to-date.

With 3.829 million viewers, the show topped ABC for the 12th straight week in total viewers. Despite rating for 15 minutes more than CBS’ half-hour program, MTP came within just one percent of being the most-watched Sunday show: only 25,000 viewers separated the two programs.

MTP showed double-digit growth year-over-year in both total viewers and the key demo: +30 percent and +41 percent, respectively.

The network broadcast also continued its dominance in the influential Washington, D.C. market, outperforming the competition combined both in total viewers and in the key A25-54 demo.

With rebroadcasts on the NBC network and on MSNBC, an additional 2.134 million total viewers and 663,000 A25-54 viewers watched MTP.
