At Comcast, our Supplier Diversity team is helping small businesses create new jobs. Here’s a look at one of those success stories.

Intec Communications has experienced tremendous success, creating 366 jobs and expanding its footprint into Houston, TX, Atlanta, GA, Chicago, IL, Mobile, AL, and Jackson, MS, since partnering with Comcast in 2008.

Intec Communications, a privately held certified minority business enterprise and national broadband and security fulfillment contractor, partnered with Comcast as a technical operations provider to fulfill residential and commercial services including cable, internet, telephone, and security service installation.  In Houston, one of the initial rollout markets for Xfinity Home in 2012, Intec was one of three Comcast partners dedicated to Xfinity Home installations, resulting in additional job creation in a new service line for Intec and a projected $27 million in 2014 revenue, a 13 percent increase from last year.
