Comcast Salutes its Own African American Innovators, Technologists, Engineers & Visionaries During Black History Month
In honor of Black History Month, Comcast salutes its very own African American innovators, technologists, engineers, and visionaries. This year’s Black History Month video showcases employees from across the company sharing their stories of success, favorite African American innovators, and how their roles enhance our products and services.
During the month of February, XFINITY is highlighting innovators and historic firsts with special content choices available to XFINITY TV customers On Demand and online, including a collection of interviews from Talk to Al Jazeera America, TV One’s The Black List, and films like Venus and Serena, The Great Debaters, andThe Medgar Evers Story. XFINITY will also feature a two-part live-streamed talk show highlighting African American tech entrepreneurs and content creators. MSNBC’s Touré will host the live streamed show on Wednesday, February 25, 2015 at 12:00 pm ET and be accessible to all on Xfinity.com/celebrateblacktv.com.
Comcast is also expanding His Dream Our Stories which was launched in 2013 to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the March on Washington for Jobs and Freedom with new interviews and extended collection of videos that will feature key moments in civil rights history.
