Comcast Promotes Susan Gonzales to Corporate Senior Director of Government Affairs

Comcast Corporation (Nasdaq: CMCSA, CMCSK), the country's leading provider of cable, entertainment and communications products and services, today announced that Susan Gonzales has been promoted to corporate senior director of government affairs, where she will join Comcast's federal lobby team to advance the company's policy goals. She will also lead Comcast's diversity initiatives in Washington, working with elected officials, community leaders and minority organizations.

For the past two and a half years, Gonzales has been Comcast Cable's
regional senior director of communications in Northern California where she
has served as spokesperson and led the communications and public affairs
efforts in the region. She has been responsible for community outreach and
promoting Comcast's deployment of high-definition TV, digital video recorders,
video on demand, and the launch of Comcast SportsNet West.

Previously she served as a special assistant for public affairs in the
Department of Health and Human Services in Washington, D.C. and served in
public affairs roles for Levi Strauss & Co. and several high-tech companies in
the Bay Area. Gonzales will relocate to Washington, D.C. from Sacramento, CA
and report to Kerry Knott, vice president of government affairs, beginning on
October 31.
