Comcast NBCUniversal's Diversity Commitment Reflected in Rising National Ranking

Comcast NBCUniversal ranked in 30th place among DiversityInc’s 2015 Top 50 Companies for Diversity, jumping 19 spots since joining the Top 50 list in 2013, which is more than any other company in the last two years - further recognizing the company's longstanding commitment to diversity and inclusion.

More than 1,600 public and private organizations participated in the annual survey this year, which assesses an organizations’ performance in four key areas: talent pipeline, equitable talent development, CEO/leadership commitment, and supplier diversity.

Comcast’s progress on this renowned list is attributed to improved talent development, strong community service, Comcast and NBCUniversal’s internal diversity councils, external Comcast NBCUniversal Joint Diversity Advisory Council, and employee resource groups.

"Inclusion welcomes every voice to the table. We are dedicated to engaging all audiences and communities by practicing inclusion within our governance, workforce, supply chain, programming, and community investments," said David L. Cohen, Executive Vice President and Chief Diversity Officer, Comcast Corporation. "We are resolute in this commitment and to our goal of becoming the model company for diversity and inclusion."

Comcast NBCUniversal also ranked in 10th place among DiversityInc’s Top 10 Companies for People with Disabilities.

"We are truly honored to be listed among DiveristyInc’s Top 10 Companies for People with Disabilities," said Tom Wlodkowski, Vice President of Accessibility, Comcast Cable.  "This award marks a significant milestone as our workforce continues to become more diverse and inclusive and as we strive to open our products up to the widest possible audience, including people with disabilities."
