Comcast, NBCUniversal and Telemundo Serve as Official Broadcast Partners of the 2014 ALMA Awards

Comcast, NBCUniversal and Telemundo were proud to be the official broadcast partners of the 2014 American Latino Media Arts Awards (ALMA Awards), which aired live on Oct. 10 on MSNBC. The ALMA awards were created and produced in part by the National Council of La Raza (NCLR), to celebrate outstanding Latino performers and producers who promote accurate and positive images of Latin Americans.

Eva Longoria and Mario Lopez hosted the annual awards ceremony celebrating 15 years of Latinos in media.  David L. Cohen, Executive Vice President and Chief Diversity Officer, Comcast Corporation; Maria G. Aria, Vice President, Diversity and Inclusion, Comcast Corporation; and Jacquelyn Puente, Executive Director, External Affairs, Comcast Corporation attended the ceremony.

  • Anthony Quinn Award for Industry Excellence: Guillermo del Toro
  • Special Achievement in Television: The Cast of Orange is the New Black
  • Special Achievement in Film: Cesar Chavez
  • Special Achievement in Music: Pitbull
