Comcast Cable Announces Newest Managed Service Provider

At Comcast, we strive to work with small businesses and expand their opportunities. We open doors and provide businesses with opportunities to grow.

Comcast’s Supplier Diversity Team continues its commitment to broadening opportunities for diverse suppliers and has awarded a new, shared managed service provider (MSP) contract to a top certified Hispanic- and woman-owned business, Pinnacle Technical Resources.

Named one of the fastest-growing staffing firms, Pinnacle was honored as the country’s top minority-owned firm by the National Minority Supplier Development Council (NMSDC). "The co-managed service provider contract relationship with Randstad and Pinnacle provides us with a robust contingent labor acquisition and management process, supporting innovation and cost efficiency. Additionally, the partnership brings a meaningful contribution to further diversity within our supply base," said Peter Kiriacoulacos, Chief Procurement Officer for Comcast and NBCUniversal.

Securing Comcast’s managed service provider contract, in partnership with Randstad Sourceright, the largest staffing firm in North America, will not only diversify Comcast’s supplier base, but it will allow Pinnacle to grow and develop business in the media and technology industry, an industry where women-owned and minority-women owned businesses are traditionally outpaced by non-minority vendors.

Between year-end 2010 and year-end 2013, Comcast and NBCUniversal spent more than $3 billion with diverse suppliers and more than $1.3 billion with diverse suppliers in 2013, alone.
