Comcast and NBCUniversal are excited to present the first-ever live broadcast of the ALMA Awards, Friday, September 27 at 10 p.m. ET, on MSNBC. The 2013 American Latino Media Arts (ALMA) Awards show is the only prime-time, English-speaking program celebrating the contributions of Latinos in entertainment and media. It’s one of the signature televised events commemorating Hispanic Heritage Month and, this year, will pay special tribute to legendary film director Robert Rodriguez, actress Rosario Dawson, and musician Carlos Santana. Hosts Eva Longoria and Mario Lopez will take a look back at historic Latino events and salute current Latino entertainers and civic leaders.
