City Year Pitches In On Comcast Cares Day

Each year, City Year corps members partner with our employees on Comcast Cares Day projects across the country. In 2012, City Year teams joined us to transform Frankford High School in Philadelphia, PA, and Lankershim Elementary in Los Angeles, CA.

Comcast Cares Day brings together tens of thousands of volunteers — including City Year corps members — for a nationwide day of service. In 2012, City Year joined Comcast employees, family and friends at Frankford High School in Philadelphia, PA, and Lankershim Elementary in Los Angeles, Calif. With their help, we painted, cleaned and transformed two deserving schools, giving students a welcome surprise when they returned.
