Here's What's Hot in August On XFINITY On Demand

We’re officially in the dog days of summer, and while there are still some great summer series in full swing, fan favorites like Pretty Little Liars and True Detective will soon be coming to a close along with summer vacations. In addition, episodes 1 and 2 of the new second season of Playing House (pictured) will air back to back, and for Xfinity customers, episode 3 will be available on Xfinity On Demand immediately after, a full week early.

The good news is, fall programming is returning soon, so make the most of those long summer days and get geared up for premieres of hot new shows and new seasons of old favorites.

This August, we’re looking forward to the celebrity-filled Teen Choice Awards on August 16th and MTV Music Video Awards on August 30th. Always sure to entertain, the MVAs will be hosted by Miley Cyrus and the nominations include the some of the hottest names in music right now, including Taylor Swift, Kendrick Lamar, Beyoncé, Ed Sheeran, and many more.

Xfinity On Demand Highlights

This month, we are releasing three new exclusive videos that will give you a closer look behind the scenes of Taylor Swift’s 1989 World Tour. The videos give a detailed overview of how the crew loads in and sets up her multi-dimensional, rotational stage and offer a chance to meet her band and back-up singers.

If you haven’t heard about Xfinity’s 1989 Lip Sync Sessions contest, be sure to learn more and enter here for the chance to meet Taylor herself! All you have to do is lip sync one of her songs. Check it out and show us what you can do!
