25 Years of Learning Together

In 30-second bursts, NBCUniversal’s The More You Know campaign over the years has tackled the most important social issues, from cyberbullying to racial discrimination.

The public service announcements featuring NBC talent, from veteran news anchor Tom Brokaw to singer and The Voice judge Usher, have become a cultural icon for TV viewers of all ages. The More You Know recently celebrated its 25th anniversary, with nearly 40 stars taping messages to help celebrate the historic moment.

The More You Know has won numerous Emmy and Peabody Awards for its spots advocating tolerance, mentoring, parental involvement, violence prevention, and healthy lifestyles. Several presidents have also recorded messages, including Bill Clinton, George H.W. Bush, and Barack Obama. The More You Know has grown with NBCUniversal, and today spots run across all of the company’s brands, including Bravo, E!, Syfy, and Sprout.

A few NBC stars shared their memories of The More You Know and what it means to them to be a part of the campaign as it celebrates 25 years of sharing knowledge to improve lives.
