Last week, awards season officially kicked off with the 72nd Annual Golden Globe Awards and the announcement of the 2015 Oscar nominees. If you’re like me, this is a time to reflect on another incredible year of entertainment – from the TV to the silver screen. It’s the perfect time to catch up on some of the titles you may have missed and to re-watch new favorites and breakout stars. This year, to help guide everyone from avid TV watchers to film enthusiasts through award season, Xfinity TV is offering a special collection of Oscar nominated and Golden Globe winning content On Demand.

The "Oscar Films and More" collection on Xfinity On Demand is our largest Oscar collection yet, with more than 200 previous winners. The collection features this year’s nominees like Boyhood (six nominations, including Best Picture, Best Director and Best Supporting Actor), Gone Girl (Best Supporting Actress) and The Grand Budapest Hotel (nine nominations, including Best Picture and Best Director), as well as a collection of past winners such as 12 Years a Slave, Dallas Buyers Club, Argo, The Kings Speech, The Hurt Locker and more.

These are just some of the Oscar nominated and award-winning films available for entertainment aficionados right now on Xfinity On Demand.

The "2015 Golden Globe Winners" collection features episodes from all the winning TV shows – including Showtime’s freshman hit The Affair (Best Actress in a TV Drama Series) and PBS fan favorite Downton Abbey (Best Drama Series, Best Supporting Actress in a Series) – as well as nearly the entire list of Golden Globe nominated series from every category.  In addition, Xfinity TV customers can also enjoy all of the already-released winning films such as Boyhood (Best Drama Motion Picture), How to Train Your Dragon 2 (Best Animated Feature Film) and The Grand Budapest Hotel (Best Musical or Comedy Motion Picture). For movies that haven’t been released for home viewing yet, such as Birdman (Best Screenplay of a Motion Picture) and The Theory of Everything (Best Original Score), the Xfinity On Demand collection provides trailers and more information on each film.

Xfinity TV customers can find the Oscars collection under the Movies section of Xfinity On Demand; the Golden Globes collection is featured in both the TV and Movies sections. Learn more about all our awards content here.

If you want to take your award season entertainment education up a notch, Xfinity On Demand also offers episodes from just about every Golden Globe nominated TV show and available movie. We hope Xfinity TV customers are empowered to become an entertainment expert this awards season.
