We recently launched Xfinity TV Go - formerly the Xfinity Player App - a big update that puts even more content in the hands of customers when they are on the go.

Xfinity TV Go delivers 35 live streaming channels over a WiFi connection and combines that with the ability to stream over  25,000 movie and TV choices On Demand. Much of this content also can be downloaded to watch offline later.

Our customers now have access to all this in one convenient app.  And the best part?  It’s only going to get better as we add more live channels along the way.

When we designed Xfinity TV Go, we focused on a couple of things:

Screen Consistency – Consumers don’t want to keep adding equipment, learn new interfaces or have to memorize another username and password.  Xfinity TV Go delivers the same intuitive look and feel of TV and presents content simply. No new devices to configure. No new accounts to create.

Quality content –Since there’s no substitute for real-time news and live event coverage, we launched the app with channels that focus on news, sports and kids programming.  After all, that type of content lends itself best to on-the-go viewing.  And that means no more missing the game. No more being the last to see breaking news. No more boredom-related tantrums from the kids.

Moving forward, we’ll continue to innovate and develop new technologies like the Xfinity TV Go app that help provide customers the most access to the best content, anytime, on every device.  Look for us to add more streaming channels to the app in the weeks and months ahead.
