More people than ever are enjoying the ability to manage and watch video entertainment wherever they are, thanks to the ongoing innovation that's happening across mobile platforms. Helping to lead this charge, Comcast continues to focus on bringing our customers access to the content they crave anytime, anywhere. Today, we're excited to announce the latest milestone in this effort -- the launch of the Xfinity TV app on Android Marketplace.

Google's Android OS has quickly become a leading smartphone platform with a passionate and loyal following of mobile device users. Starting today, Xfinity digital customers with Android-powered devices now can change channels, program their DVRs, search and browse TV listings or On Demand content and search by various filters -- including genres, networks, and titles, all from their mobile device.

Newer versions of Android OS will bring even more features and functionality to all Android-powered devices -- including tablets -- providing a rich platform on which to launch Xfinity TV services. Soon, we plan to add the ability to stream thousands of hours of on-demand video content on Android-powered tablets so customers can watch hit movies and TV shows wherever they are. And we're working on enabling live TV streaming in the home so you can turn your tablet into an additional TV screen that can move around the house with you.

Additional updates of the Xfinity TV app for both Android and Apple iOS platforms also will include more personalization features -- shortcuts and controls including recommendations, enabling customers to create and manage a watchlist and customize their favorite TV listings.

Today's announcement marks another high point for our busy developers and engineers. It's the second Android app we've released in the past three months and we look forward to delivering upcoming releases that will bring even more value to our customers.
