We recognize that many of our customers are passionate about their Android phones, and have been waiting for us to offer an app that will bring Xfinity services to the Android world. Today we're announcing the Xfinity Mobile app on Android, which is very exciting because it's our first-ever Android app.

We have been working hard to build an app that can help simplify your life as well as take advantage of the unique capabilities of the Android platform, such as widgets, background operations, and more.

In a nutshell, the Xfinity Mobile app lets you take the best features of our phone, cable and Internet with you on the go -- making the app on Android part of your daily life.

For example, customers can access their home voicemail and forward home phone calls to their Android device. They can use the mobile widget to review their voicemails and emails and they can access a Universal Address book with all your contacts. TV lovers can remotely program and manage their DVRs, view local TV listings and watch Video On Demand movie trailers.

We expect many new features to follow including real time caller ID alerts to your device when someone calls your home phone, account management features that allow you to pay your Comcast bill, and more.

What about the Xfinity TV app? And how about streaming TV shows and movies? These are all in our app development pipeline and will be available through an Xfinity TV app that we plan to launch on Android in the next few weeks. Together, these apps will offer you on-the-go access to all of your Xfinity services you use daily at home.
