Today, we launched a new On Demand offering called Tribeca Film that brings nearly 20 million Xfinity digital customers front-row seats to one of the most prominent film festivals in the world, the 2011 Tribeca Film Festival, along with other indie movies, which will be available in most markets throughout the year On Demand.

After a successful partnership with Tribeca Film last year, we wanted to again give our customers, especially the ones that can't travel to New York to the Tribeca Film Festival, a way to watch indie films the same day they premiere at the festival, and, in other cases, before a film debuts in theaters. With notable names like Ryan Phillippe, Keira Knightley, Zach Braff, Dax Shepard, Sam Worthington and Eva Mendes, this year's lineup is not to be missed. We'll have six feature films available on Tribeca Film On Demand and online at XfinityTV.com: "The Bang Bang Club, "Last Night," "NEDS," "The Bleeding House," "The High Cost of Living" and "Brother's Justice." We'll also have special extras such as interviews, deleted scenes and behind the scenes looks.

The launch of Tribeca Film On Demand and the availability of these films on XfinityTV.com builds on our commitment to broaden the reach of indie films, so our customers have access to them, anytime, anywhere. This offering also complements our Indie Film Club On Demand and online, the hundreds of indie films available on XfinityTV.com and the 2,000 indie films we are currently rolling out to our customers On Demand.

The 2011 Tribeca Film Festival runs through May 1, so if you can't make it to the festival to watch in person, be sure to check out these films On Demand and on XfinityTV.com.
